The Philosophy
I spent thirty years in corporate America before I figured out what I actually believe: your career doesn't have to follow a script someone else wrote. I didn't have a mentor until the later stages of my own career, so I learned to advocate for myself, create roles that didn't exist yet, and build something I'm proud of.
That's the whole job now: not fixing what's "wrong" with your career, but helping you see the skills, the experience, and the value you already have, and use them on purpose.
"What problems do you know how to solve?" is a very different question than "what job are you qualified for?" And it gets you a very different career.
